Hello guys. Today in this video we’ll do this very chic baby suit. Suit consists cardigan, skirt and bootie. You can add a hat if you wish. That’s our skirt; in front. That is the back. Those are cute tiny booties. It has a button. You can tie it sideways to that side. Ruffles doesn’t let but… That is our bootie… I put it to robe parts and the arm not to skirt, because skirt already has ruffles. If you’re doing just the cardigan, then you can put it. Backside. Yes, the suit is very chic. Good luck. Hello guys. Today we’ll do a ruffle cardigan for girls. My rope is like that, satin ones. For inside those are called ribbon rope. It has thin and thick…I preferred thin due to it will be a vest. We’ll do with a rope like this. My needle is nr.4. Starting with doing 60 knots. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7… 60… I did 60 knots. You can do this both vest or cardigan. Robe part will be same. I’ll go 60 knots as 3 rows of garter stitch. Sorry, I’ll do 6. I will always knit my garter stitch as knitwise. Both in back and front. Now I did my 60 knots. Turning back. Knitwise again. Like that, we gonna have 6. We’ll knit 6 rows. 3 teeth of garter stitch here. 3 in back and 3 in front. Now, before adding this rope we’ll do seperation parts. I got 60 knots. 10 in front, 8 in arm and 16 in… We got 2 each pat parts; I mean seperation parts. Now, I’m knitting my 10 knots. I’ll do 7 of ’em garter stitch. 7…I’ll do the garter stitch knitwise, so I’m knitting it all knitwise in front. 8, 9 10… 10. Got this rope; and whip it. You can do this by fronting the rope, knot will formate itself. You can do a knot on top of your needle. 1 in between, I did 2. Whipping my rope again. 8 in arm… 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8… Whipping my rope again. 1, did 2. Whipping my rope again. We got 16 knots in back: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12… 12,, 13, 14, 15 and 16… Whipping my rope again. 1, We’ll do 2 seperation part. Increasing. Knit 8 for arm: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Increase again. 1, did 2. Increasing again. I’ll knit left 10 for arm. Now we’re in backside. Let’s do a hole by the way. Yes, that’s the right part. Open hole that side. At first, we’ll do 7 knots here. So that I’m doing 3 garter stitches. Increasing again. Cutting that 2 knots. That will be button holes. 2, 4, 5, 6, I did 7 garter stitches. Turn your rope to yourself and do purls. All knots in between, including that increased ones, will be purl till I got 7 left in back. I go 2, 4, 6, 7 knots as garter stitches in edges. Look 1, 2, 3, and we got 4 pat. From here left and right of those 2 knots we’ll always increase in robe parts. Now, we got our point clear. Now we’ll go on with that ribbon. We’ll only knit these gaps in between. Those are all solo knots. Knitting my 7 garter stitches first. We’ll add this rope now but that edge…I want it to be inside. Turning. We’ll clip here to not to shown. Look, I’m going in to that gap first and take 1 from the back; I’ll knit ’em together. Again, look, I’m go in to that gap in the rope. And a knot from back… Taking both… Taking a knot from here. Look they’re… all solo knots. Taking one knot. You can pull in and knit together if you wish. Now again, take from other gap. Taking 1 in there. We came to seperation. 2 knots… We’ll increase, since we have to. Increase before knitting those 2 knots. I took 1 knot from ribbon rope , 1 knot from needle. 1, I did 2 seperation part, I mean pat. I’ll whip in between. Again, 1 from ribbon rope 1 from rope in needle… We’ll knit from one ribbon rope and one from knot in the needle. Do not go in those knots 2 times; just once is enough… Took 1 from ribbon rope, 1 from knot in needle, take both… Yes, I saw the hole that I increased. Now come to these 2 knots. Increase 1 in between and go on. I’ll knit 2 knots in between. And increasing again. Look, I’m in back. Apply this process till that 2 knots. I’ll knit the knot that we incresed before. Increasing. Increasing again. Yes do the increased one that we did before. Whip 1. Knit that 2 knots in between with ribbon rope again. Did 2. I will increase in that between. We got 10 knots 7 of them are garter patterns, knit what’s left like this. 2, 4, 6, 7… We’ll do 1 more. Yes… For 7 left I’ll knit them without ribbon rope. Look, here is our ribbon. These will be already look like this. There is cuff part. Now, knit 7 as garter stitch again. For whats left in between knit them as purl till we got 7 left. That increased ones will be purl again… First 7 will be garter stitch and all in betweens will be knitwise. Increase like this. Yes, guys btw 1, 2, 3 that’s my 4th hole… Did my increasing. So I said 3; 6 rows, and purl; 7, and we went on; 8 rows… I did 8 rows in between. Now, this time we’ll add ribbon rope in purl. Bc our rope left in front. I did 8 rows. So I’m doing my 4th increasing after the ribbon. I’ll get 6 holes now. Doing 7 garter stitches. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7… That rope is here, calculate that distance without tighten it. Purl this time… Look I’m attaching. Turning my rope. In all knots take one, from a ribbon rope and one knot in needle & knit them. Purlwise is easier. Take 1 from there and knit together with knot in needle. Take 1 knot, knit together with knot in needle. In reverse, knit those increased ones. Take 1 from ribbon rope, attach, knit together. I’ll knit 2 knots in between too. So in reverse side knit all including increased ones. Got 1, attach, take both… We got a knit that we increased here, we gonna knit it too. Taking 1 knitted with increased one. Ribbon must be in front while we’re doin back. Yes, reverse side is like this. Knit those 7 without ribbon rope. Let me show you the front. Our cardigan or vest, whatever it is will look like this… so they need to be on top of the other. We’ll knit 8 more again in front. Ribbon must be in front this time. After 8 rows later we’ll go on with reverse side. You can do this in any size. Now I did 1, 2, 3, 4 more increasings. So 8 rows more. That’s more obvious than reverse. Now I got 10 increasings. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10… I’m in 11th. We’ll use ribbon rope again. We got 4 holes in between. Doing my garter stitch. 7… Apply the same process as first row. Look, do not tighten that rope through top, got one knot left in between. As in 2nd row take one from ribbon rope, and one from knot. You need to fix the ropes regularly btw. Bc they twist. Knit them all till the 2 knots in the pat part. Yes, we’re here. I will give you the numbers also: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18,20. 20 knots in front. Increasing now: it’s 21 now. Going on, knit 2 knots in between and increase once. Do not forget to increase in front. When in reverse side, knit all of them since we did increased in front. Yes look in betweens, that 2 knots going as lines. We always increased from it’s right and left. That’s 3rd ribbon. It’ll look like this; through bottom. Yes, do the knitwise row like that. Increase 3-4 times more. Yes, I did increased 4 holes more. So in total I did 15 increasings. Now we’ll do the arm seperation. Knitting knots in front. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13… 25… In front, we got 25. That knot in between also belongs to front; so it’s 26. I will not increase more. 1, 2, 3, Take that knot in between back and arm. 38 knots. Oh, no, sorry. 40 knots. Gonna count again. One of them belongs to front. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38 ve 40… 40 knots in arm. Those who’ll do vest, just knit those 40 knot as 3 – 4 rows of garter stitch. They’ll tie their rope to the back part. For other arm, they’ll apply the same process and finish. Gonna knit the body as a whole. I wanna show cardigan too so that we’re doing cardigan… we gonna add arms. That’s 40 knots, now I’m turning back. Pull 1 knot out from that first knot of the arm. So I increased 1 in those edges. We got 41 knots now. Yes, one of that 2 knots belongs to front. I’ll seperate that front part. Look that is front part. We’ll just knit arm now. As I said, if you do this as a vest you need to knit those knots in between as garter stitches and finish. Now, in other edge we increased 1 knot. I will do the same to the here, too. And the loop count for arm is 42. Yes, that’s back. We’ll just knit this arm. We’ll go on with this 42 knots for a while and go on.
